Doesn't make much sense for the Leafs. Moving out Holl is a cap move and taking back 1.5 mil in a worse defenseman just defeats the purpose for them.

Ah someone else who has traded for Carson Soucy. I was messing around with that before on here. Not quite sure if he is a top 4 guy (he had a rough 1st half of the season last year play wise) but I definitely would dump zaitsev and try for him for now if i were the sens. His 2nd half of the season was better and his play improved a bunch.

Soucy managed to stay +7 on an expansion team , Showed great leadership and in my opinion is a top 4 defenseman coming from someone who watched this guy all season long. Both teams benefit here although losing Soucy would devastate our blueline
