The difficult thing to give up is that first in 2023. I am not a GM, but if I were the Senators' GM, I would have to be extremely confident that the Sens would be a playoff team and could go far. Chychrun is very good, though. Just tough to pass up on a potentially high pick in a loaded draft (if they somehow miss the playoffs).

P.S. I think the Sentators will make the playoffs, but that's just me. Please don't hate.
