Amadio will probably be a scratch. Brisson will probably be in his place. That depth has potential to be very good and they can upgrade whatever piece isn't working at the deadline. I think recency bias is really making people undervalue Vegas.

Expecting a 20 year old with 9 AHL games to take a full NHL spot is a bit optimistic.

I don't think people are undervaluing them. Depth isn't great. Gave away one of their best forwards for nothing. Everybody else in the division making improvements.

If both teams are doing well, the difference between Edmonton and LA is going to be goaltending. I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas was 1 and Oilers 2 or vice versa, maybe one of them won't even be top 3, though. The Pacific is kind of unpredictable since teams that look like powerhouse on paper like Vancouver struggle. Imagine if Seattle is 1, Calgary 2, and Anaheim 3.
