This dude wants to dump bailey and give Kadri five years. Gostisbehere is a stat compiler on a bad team. He doesn’t bring anything to the table here.

I’m sorry that you feel I am being condescending. That was not my intention. I’m just trying to point out that the isles roster doesn’t need Ghost. I’m also pointing out that you overpaid Kadri on this deal. I understand ur also trying to do what Lou would tho.

To be very clear I base all my opinions on trade value on recent trades. By recent I mean within the next two years.

I get what ur saying. It does seem like Kurz believes Bailey has more value than most of us do.

Well arizona fans see it as: theyre not in “win now” mode for many years. So for them to take any player on that’s above the age of 29, from their perspective, is purely cap dump… they want to be compensated as such.

Anaheim makes more sense to me since some people are giving them dark horse potential.

The way i see it ; if Bailey is moved for even just future considerations, and Kadri is signed for 4 years or less at $7m or less, it’s a noticeable upgrade. I know that’s not necessarily fair to Bailey, but that’s the truth. And fyi i was never on the Bailey sucks train. Not happy with his performance this past season but everyone underperformed. Also I’m fully convinced Lou has given Kadri 6x$7m++

I’m not thrilled about the Kadri signing. I’m fine with moving bailey if we clear space for someone like Meier.

Could Lou pull off shipping out two guys? Ie; pageau and Bailey, and bringing in Kadri AND Meier?
