Florida need to loose salary. Hornqvist will be good for avs PP2 and provide 10-15 goals.

I hate the Girard for Bennett idea. That's buying high on a guy that got extremely favorable deployment last season. And there is no reason to take Hornqvist in thus deal. If Florida wants to dump his salary, they'd need to pay through the nose to do it.

Disagree immensely. Bennet has fewer 30+ pt seasons than Girard a dman who is younger and signed longer.

That doesn’t change the fact Girard is more valuable by quite a bit imo. Tell me Newhook rolling at 2C doesn’t produce as much or more than Bennet would. Sometimes you just have to give a guy a shot regardless. What’s the worst that happens you find out he is a 3C / 2LW, but have accrued cap space and still have Girard?
