I think Zadina keeps a spot in the lineup over Berggren to start the season. And I think they find a way to get Veleno in the lineup too.

Changes I'd make would be Zadina on the 3rd line amd Berggren start the season in the AHL. Scratch Sundqvist and have Veleno 4th line center with time on pp2. Also don't throw Edvinsson to the wolves right away, I think Maatta opens the season in the top 4

You're probably right about Zadina/Berggren. Berggren is a favourite from Sweden and from the same town as me, so thats why he is in the lineup.

Edvinsson was dominant in the SHL last season and is way too good for AHL. He will for sure take a spot in the line up. Let Chairot and Seider play big minutes and Edvinsons can have a more shelter role.

Maatta is better defensively so he starts off in the 2nd pair with Hronek who isn't great defensively. I think this is Zadina's last chance and I don't see Yzerman letting Zadina impede Berggren progress. Berggren has 3 full years of pro hockey under his belt.
