Necessary due to cap I think. Wagner can be waived to AHL for cheap (which Boston did most of the year last year). He is good depth if needed with injuries.

We’d pass then and trade Bear somewhere else for whatever we can get. Main point is moving his salary. Canes can’t afford Wagner and have no use for him. Would just be blocking our young guys anyways.

Why would LA consider that?

Craig Smith has actual trade value. It’s mind boggling that you pay someone to take him with no return and yet Foligno, who has no value, gets a return. 🤷🏻‍♂️
