NYR trade - This was the reported offer VAN turned down at last year's deadline. I could see NYR offering the same or a similar offer again this season. Canucks would be dumb not to take it, since the alternative this time around is losing Miller in FA.

DiPietro and a 4th doesn't really move the needle in terms of taking on a cap dump of $6mil in actual cash salary owed over 2 years. CHI's cap space could be used in more efficient ways.

Value for Miller is fine but Rangers can't afford it without Vancouver retaining 50%, and with Trocheck added I don't see why they would give up all of that for a pure rental
