Description
Just having fun. Don't think the Leafs do this.

But I really think they need to inject some size and toughness throughout their line up. Savard, Anderson, ZAR all help with that.

I understand Nylander wouldn't fit Montreal window, but they would resell him at a later date and could get a lot more for him than they would for Anderson.

Thoughts?

I hate the habs trade for toronto. Brutal contracts and the players are just not that good

Florida pick will be late and you get to dump two bad players for good ones. Nothing there to hate.

You don’t know what you’re talking about with Anderson and Savard

I know very well. Which is why I put a sane perspective on it. Not that the Habs want to make this trade. I'm sure they would like to tank again. Hopefully this time they take the right kid at 1oa.

I would do Gallagher for Nylander and Holl, no picks. Gallagher would have a rebirth with a team like Toronto

Drugs are bad. We're not giving valuable assets for cap dumps. Which is exactly why the trade presented here isn't happening.

Gallagher is far from a cap dump. The entire team was in a slump last year under Ducharme.

Gallagher is a cap dump. I'm sorry if this offends you. A career high 54 points for a player who is too old to improve and makes 6.5m has no value. Retain 2.5m and maybe he's worth something.

Not offended at all but Gallagher is a high intensity player with lots of grit. He can easily get another 25-30 goals if well surrounded. He’s probably the best in the league for garbage goals around the next or to tip deflections. Production went down last year as Ducharme did an awful job as a coach. He was not respected by the veterans, especially Petry. Habs went from SC finalist to last in the league in a matter of a few months. Coaching was the issue. During the last playoffs, the locker room was led by Weber, Price, Perry and Petry. Last year Weber was LTIR, Price was injured and Perry signed with TBL. Last year was a real **** show and it started with the coach.

Nylander will pot 35 and add 50 assist with a tin can on left wing and an old boot playing centre.we'll keep the talent you keep your intangibles.
