Well VGK needs to find cheap roster players, and that is what they are getting in this deal. Hajek can play top 6 role. Gauthier can play bottom 6 for cheap. Vegas has cap issues, so that is why they don't have so much leverage

Well so BUF doesn't need an excellent shutdown guy, BUF doesn't have defensive issues with their game. He would add leadership, roleplaying guy, looker room guy. Buffalo has loads of cap space so I think this makes sense for BUF.

You're also getting an interesting prospect in Skinner, big RHD who skates pretty well. He's still a project but could become something nice. And tbh, I would even take a 5th rounder, just get Goodrow out of here
