This is my attempt to help John Tavares with a solid LW player.

Compared to the insane cost JT Miller is supposed to fetch as well as the massive price to re-sign him to the end of his career, I believe that Nino is a MUCH better target as he can be signed to a deal that takes him to age 35 for less than either of the JTs are making currently.

Also I "Kucherov'd" Muzzin because EVERY team a Leaf fan has traded him to has had that team's fanbase say Muzzin has injury issues. I am sure the NHL brass believes that as well and wouldn't be suspicious so I might as well leverage it. Silver lining to a rough narrative.

Oh, and I traded Kerfoot to that team that everyone agrees on for the return that everyone expects.
