I think Sandin is bad on the right and good on the Left and this makes no sense. Want to trade Holl because you have some hate on for him? Fine, you need an upgrade period. A RHD better than Holl is going to be significantly more money. Not a problem but then you need to move the cap required. Trading Kerfoot doesn't really get you that so Muzzin has to go and you would have to have the Holl trade done and ready the moment you move Muzzin.

I agree, and really wish the team matched Buffalo's offer for Lyubushkin.

Way I see it, the only way we can move Muzzin without damaging the team is if we traded him with a haul for Chychrun. Would cost at least him, Niemela, and a first.

Chicago is not paying for your cap dump. We are over the minimum. Send a 3rd with Holl and you get your cap space.

Holl is a RHD and the Leafs don't have a replacement and one isn't available. Not a cap dump. At this point anyone with a brain must realize that Dubas likely already has a trade agreed upon for Muzzin. I would say that chances are Dubas is hoping to find a trade to bring in the kind of LHD he wants instead of bringing someone up but will pull the trigger and just bring someone up if he has to.
