Flyers and their GMs sure have screwed up the future with the Flyers. Just too many long term contracts for middling players.

One difference the Flyers don't really have tradable assets like the Hawks do.....Hawks had DeBrincat, and still can assets for Toews and Kane if they waive at TDL.

Hawks kinda made the same mistake that Flyers did, overpaying to acquire a RHD, Jones/Risto and then overpaying them on their new contracts.

Guys with term like Provorov and Konecny could fetch value, Sanhiem retained gets good return. The thing is it might be smarter to wait till this season is underway, closer to the TDL… Provorov with TDA should put up good numbers. Konecny now with a healthy C should be back at 60… JVR Will be interesting to watch, 22 goals in the last 60 games, if he has 25 by the TDL we might be able to retain him for a high pick
