Hey, a realistic Miller trade.

Waiting for the Rangers fans to see this and say "We wouldn't even trade Schneider for McDavid". lol

Miller trade won’t happen with Schneider. He’s off the table🤷🏻‍♂️

the logic of "we didnt offer schneider for a season and a half of miller, so we're going to increase the offer for a season of miller" is flawed.

Ranger fan here, Schneider is very much not an untouchable prospect like so many of my fellow ranger fans treat him as (and just about every prospect the rangers have). That being said, don't see the rangers doing this as its quite a big overpay. Rangers weren't down to do this package for Miller at the deadline when they could've gotten 2 playoffs runs out of him. Now that hes a 1 year rental, they definitely won't do it. I also think chytil's value went up after the playoffs. Everyone knows the Canucks want to offload Miller's contract as much as the rangers want a good 2C, so neither would have the other bent over a barrel.

That being said I could see Schneider and a 1st rd working, idk why everyone in the NHL is obsessed with this Schneider, hes really just an average defenseman with *GRIT*.

I said in the trade if the Rangers miss out in FA.

Ok first off, youre absolutely correct about most of what you said.
Except about schneider. He's currently an nhl defenseman at the age of 21. He's currently our 5th defenseman but he's capable on both sides of the ice at 21. He has room to both grow and improve. Thats why he's valuable.
He's blocked by trouba now, but in 2 years, when trouba can be moved, he's likely a top 4 defenseman.
