I do t think Bert gets moved prior to the season depending on if the team take a strive forward this season or not I could see a deadline move if this year ends up being a wash but if they maybe best team not in the playoffs they extend both Bert and Larkin

The Wings should be looking at one year of 7m JVR...of course with a sweetener added. Really is Pronovov that special, that couldn't be got by UFA, at the same cap this year or next?

I'd be thrilled if they did that. I think JVR could actually help the PP and a guy like Rasmussen. Provorov would be incredible with Seider

Raymond and Vrana play a very similar style so I wouldn't put them on the same line. Bertuzzi and Larkin have had chemistry since day one. If Detroit can get enough secondary scoring that would allow Bertuzzi and Larkin to play the majority of the season together with Raymond I think it would be far better than Pronovov and Seider. I would also put Rasmussen as the 4th line center they are grooming him to be a shutdown center and you can tell he is getting comfortable in that roll by the way his production improved toward the end of the season. Smith - Rasmussen -Sundqvist would not only be a good checking line but one that could also put some points.

I thought he played way better on the wing. He was using that frame more plus creating more space. To me Provorov would be more important than what Tyler is giving Detroit. This team was terrible defensively and someone needs to stabilize.

He did play better on the wing but isn't getting him comfortable on the wing building up his confidence then moving him to center. Holland really f***** that up Rasmussen should've been sent back to play his final year of eligibility in the WHL.

I’m not one to defend Holland but if he was 5’11 as opposed to 6’6 I’d agree with you. To me he never was a center but everyone evaluates differently
