Allen (worth a 2nd) + 3rd for EDM 1st (pick 29) + Kassian is more likely to go through than the likelihood of the habs accepting the deal you proposed irl.

They get a quality goalie prospect . A top D prospect in a city that wont be as hard on him and 3 first round pick they they can use in trades or picks

Also at this point, just getting a goalie doesn't make them good. Primeau hasn't done any better than what Daws has done in the AHL let alone getting bombed in the NHL.
