What would burying Bunting do?

They can shake up the lines like this:
Bunting-Matthews-Nylander
Tavares-Strome-Marner (Tavares and Marner had chemistry, and perhaps Marner and Strome can rekindle their U20 chemistry)

One more Blackwood for Campbell's rights post and I'm going to sink Toronto to the bottom of Lake Ontario

Leaf fans can't help themselves...none have shown any evidence as to when a deal for a UFA's rights where it wasn't about an 8th year cost so much...

I think most people are just assuming that Blackwood would get dumped, the OP here at least gave a 3rd, the rest are essentially assuming that Blackwood would get traded for future considerations. Not sure if they think it will be in a single deal, which would make no sense because they still might not get Campbell but even if they were sure they were getting him, why wouldn't they shop Blackwood around the league first.

This was meant to be more of a 3rd + 5/6th round pick for blackwood. Again idk his value and I don't think anyone really does at this point.

That price is too low to even bother. Leaf fans can't both be like "he isn't worth much" but also "he's our starter".

What would you say the value would be?

It doesn't make sense to deal him unless you have two NHL goalies otherwise. Why deal at the bottom of the value when other legit 1Bs cost $2.5 anyway? It's just asking to strip the Devils when they want to compete too. Not looking to act as a minor league team for TOR.
