Well I can't speak to how that relationship would work out, but in general I think pairing him with Hjalmarsson would be an excellent 2nd unit.

A first and 2nd for JVR is certainly not enough for the Leafs. A Chicago first is about 30th pick, not similar to a Leaf or Carolina first rounder.

Fellows, you mentioned Queneville's coaching. Let me put in a word about Mike Kitchen. When he was assistant with the Leafs (defence coach), the players he coached never played better. Rouse, Gill, Ellett, Lefevre, Dimotrich? Comes to Chicago and wins Cups. He had coached mostly under a radar for decades in the NHL, but has had a great career. Must love his job, he still looks so young.

Yeah but the Leaves get Bickell and they get Rundblad as well...
