If the habs are selling anderson at 3 million they can get a significantly better return than a worthless body and a late 1st

lol, you edited it. It's always nice when people admit defeat by using a cop out lazy chirp like that. What's the matter? You cant defend your player at all? Am I totally correct that he is a worse player than Kerfoot? C'mon champ, you can do it

I keep seeing you bashing on any Anderson trade. If he's traded, at what price would you admit you were very wrong?

What if he goes for a top 20 pick, with a 1-2 year bad contract coming back?

I could go see if you bashed on those Chiarot/Lehkonen/Toffoli trades, but i'm too lazy right now.

well you see there are two different things going on here, what a player is worth in regards to what they will bring a team in a trade and what some **** GM will give up for them in a trade.
For instance, i said many a time here that Chariot would get a 1st+ because some GM would be dumb, despite him being awful and contributing negativly to the new team, and guess what! I was right on both accounts!
Lehkonen and Toffoli are good players and i always said as much.
Anderson is on the chariot side. He has a hilarious un-earned reputation because he big and he hitz, but he has the hockey IQ of a drunk turtle. Some GM will pay way too much for him and it will be a terrible mistake for them

Crazy! Didn’t know a leafs fan would watch every single habs game and have all the correct information on every player .. Good for you being able to find the time to watch that much hockey 👍🏻

Pretty sure i saw you bash Lehkonen, but if Anderson is good on his new team, many people here will have to admit they were wrong about him.

Remember he played under Torts and Julien/Ducharme, who are defensive minded coach. He could explode elsewhere like Lehkonen did.

But nobody said anything when Lehkonen scored important goals in the Avs cup run this year, so i guess it will be the same with Anderson.

People here are good to **** on trades, but they're MIA when proven wrong. I've even seen people change name or delete accounts.

Well if you don’t watch the guy play enough than your opinion isn’t valid if Anderson ever learns to finish he’s an easy 35+ goal scorer .. that potential would excite lots of people especially considering he’ll be entering his prime in the last few years of his contract so him at 5.5 M in 2 years could be a complete steal

nah, ive never bashed Lehkonen and the most i did was throw cold water on people who wanted insane returns for him.
And if Anderson is good on his new team it would be the first time in his career. He's 28 years old and literally has one season with more than 32 points or 19 goals, he cant play defence and he makes way too much money for too long, not to mention his injury history.
you keep bringing up Lehkonen for some reason, despite me telling you ive always thought he was good, yet ignore chariot who i used as an actual comparison. Chariot was terrible with the Panthers like he was with the habs and he will continue to be terrible with who ever he signs in the off season.
Yes, people do love to go MIA when trades work against what they thought, eh?

lol, he's 28 years old dude and he has one season with more than 19 goals. he's not a rookie, he's already past the average scoring peak for NHL players, Prime scoring age is 23-26.

Prime age is late 20s early 30s for your non superstar players ..

no, it isnt. It is mid 20's, and physical guys like anderson it drops off even sooner and faster because their bodies break down faster. Defenders and goalies tend to peak a little later, but forwards peak early. especially the non superstar players

How so when majority of guys don’t even hit the league until there 22-23 and then they only play 3rd or 4th line minutes for the first year or two ..

they still peak at the same time because it's about physical development and general peak health. things like bone density, muscle recovery and that start to get worse in your late 20s. The only difference with players who hit the league later is they dont have near as sharp an increase in the first few years because they are already physically developed,

im aware, and hockey abilities only matter as far as the players physical abilities can take them.
Josh Anderson is well past the post on both

Disagree you don’t need much physical ability if you have good awareness and play well positionally
