Idk that the isles could turn that down tbh. MCD is still really good, despite the fact half the lightning fan base seems like they want to push him out the door lol.

McDonagh isn't waiving for the Islanders.

And Killorn sure as hell isn't waiving for cellar dweller Seattle.

I'm one of the few that's fine with him staying, going off the reports that JBB talked to him about a trade... This was one team I saw mentioned since they only have 3 D signed at the moment... Once they sign Hobson, he would pair well with McD

You can win back to back cups with MCD lol. If I got a first in the deal I don’t know how I’d complain.

I don’t see why MCD wouldn’t go to the isles. He has lived in NY before and would be paired with Dobson. I don’t know that a better situation exists for him.

Would make little to no sense for McDonough to shoot this down. Also there’s a decent chance Seattle isn’t on Killorn’s No Trade List because there is no state income tax in Washington.

I will say that the ideal scenario would be the isles trade bailey for a pick then deal that pick for McDonough. But it’s not like I’d be upset by this deal.

McDonagh isn't leaving a good thing in Tampa for Long island, Pretty much tell you that now.

And having no State income tax has nothing to do with Killorn waiving. he's not leaving the best team in hockey for one of the worst teams in hockey.

Killorn has a M-NTC not a full NTC. As for MCD, the isles are one year removed from going to game 7 against his “good thing” in Tampa. Not sure why you think Long Island is a bad situation for him when they still have Barzy, Pelech, Dobson, Pulock and Sorokin rn.

Alex Killorn has a 16 team no trade list, And yeah odds are high that Seattle is one of those 16 teams.

And i don't care what the Islanders did nearly a year ago, i care about what they did last season and it wasn't pretty.

Dude that Lighting fan is in another thread saying MCD would waive for Detroit, but he’s criticizing you for sending MCD to the isles lmao.

Your in another thread saying he would waive for Detroit. If you don’t like the isles then that’s fine, but don’t pretend he wouldn’t waive for NY. They still have a lot of talent on the backend. They got Soroky in net and they still have Barzy. You can’t tell me that you actually think he would prefer Raymond, Seider and Nedeljkovic to Bary, Dobby, Pelech, Pulock and Soroky.

Isles lost Pulock and Nelson for extended periods of time and had a massive hole on their left side d. If you swapped Chara for MCD last year than how many more wins would the isles have had lol.

Yeah because he loved playing under Yzerman, Plus his old assistant coach in Derek Lalonde is Detroit's new head coach. Pretty sure after 2 cups he could care less who he plays for. I'm pretty sure he'd be thrilled to play with Mo Seider than Noah Dobson anytime of the year.

Who cares what the islanders lost, Good teams lose good players and find a way to win. And the islanders failed miserably.

I’m not sure what you meant in that last sentence but MCD is a competitor lol. He’s not gonna want to go play for a rebuilding team.

I don’t disagree with what your saying lol. But MCD would make an immediate impact in NY and he wouldn’t in Detroit lol. Idea he wants to go to a rebuilding team is ridiculous. Isles r a good lefty d man and a top line winger away from contention. Getting MCD would be a huge step towards that.

The roster that took the lightning to game 7 is still there. Lightning won on a short handed goal where they had 7 guys on the ice lol. Isles lost Leddy and Eberle due to expansion and then lost Nelson and Pulock to injury. That’s not even accounting for the fact Lee was recovering from an acl injury and the entire roster getting Covid in Florida lol.

Right because you're McDonaghs agent and know what he wants, After a new HC and with the moves Yzerman will make this offseason, Detroit will be a lot closer to a playoff team and the rebuilding phase will be over.

Not saying I dislike Detroit and I’m not saying I’m MCD’s agent. I’m saying ur dismissing any options for a MCD trade except for Detroit. And you also think he’s only worth a 3rd or a 4th lol.

laugh Saying that McDonagh would make an immediate impact on long Island and not Detroit is pretty laugh He would far and away be our 2nd best if not best Dman along with Seider and adding Simon Edvinsson Detroit would have a formidable D core

I never said he wouldn’t impact Detroit. But in this scenario ur basically saying u think Edvinsson, Seider and Hronek are already better than Pelech, Pulock and Dobson. Hate to be the one to tell you that’s not the case. I’m not saying Detroit’s guys won’t be better, but they certainly haven’t proven it.
