I think the value is fair (assuming that the first is pick 20-32), but I think that the Canes would be much better off trading futures for Puljujarvi, rather than a roster player, and I don't think they'll trade Necas now because his value is so low after last season.

I don't see the Canes trading Necas unless it upgrades their current roster. I don't feel JP is anywhere near the player Necas has been or will be. I highly doubt the Canes would be interested in a draft pick upgrade as this is a team looking to win now, not in 3-4 years.
