That's a lot to give up for Kovy. I know he was great in his last go around, but he's 34yr old now and hasn't been in the league for 4-5 years. Take out the 1st rounder and I'd be ok, but then you have to cough up $6 million per on a guy that you're not sure if he's still the same Kovy. It's an interesting idea, but if it backfires we've set ourselves back 3-4 years.

Yeah it's risky. It is also a weaker draft this year so loosing the first won't be too bad.

Way too much for Kovalchuk. C. Miller + Czarnik should be able to get it done imo if the Bruins wish to go after Kovy
