My thoughts:

I'm going for depth here.

1st line; The skill of Crosby and Miller should allow the Pens to put a low salary player on the first line while still having a top 1st line in the league. This allows for better depth. Kapanen still has the speed and skill to play on a top line - I just don't think his game translates well for the bottom 2 lines. And he played half the year with Carter. I see no reason why he can't be similar to Sheary was on the cup runs.

2nd line: The numbers when 59/71/17 are together are absolutely ridiculous - significantly better even than when they are centered by Crosby. This should give you arguably the best 2nd line in the league.

3rd line: I kept Zucker because I thought trading him made this a little to unrealistic. Plus, when healthy I think Zucker is still a good player and a great 3rd liner with a lot of energy and some physicality. His contract coming off the books gives you the money to resign Miller. Copp is a great player with the versatility to play 2C and 3C should Malkin get hurt or Carter just sucks too much.

4th line: Is what it is. Younger guys with speed and physicality who can control the puck. Thats their job

Defense: Not much to say here. POJ for Pettersson and Manson for Marino. Pretty much equal to me
