good luck getting tampa to retain when they are tight on cap space already

2 obstacles:
1) Toronto is probably 1 of 16 teams on his NTC
2) Tampa probably wouldn't trade him in division

If I was y’all, I would try to find someone to take on McDougnah but idk if a team would. With tough decisions this year and next I would try to move him. I get hes a very good player but Id rather keep Palat and others to resign over Ryan. Thoughts about this?

I think they could find a team to take him, but he probably wants to stay put. If he was willing to go, it's probably someone in the division (FLR if he wanted to stay close) assuming they can even afford him and that wouldn't work for TB. MN has no cap if he wanted to go back home.

a full NTC makes it improbable if not impossible
