If the Jets are selling Dubois b/c Dubois wants to basically sign a doomsday contract (like Matthews, to exactly enough term to take you to UFA) or an offer sheet, Montreal doesn't need to send them this much - they need two decent prospects and their first next year to send WPGs way.

Norlinder, protected first next year (turns into a 2nd if top 2 pick), and Mysak would do it. They would do it on the condition that PLD signs an extension with them.

When you're a team in reconstruction and know you won't be high in ranking you don't trade a first round in a really good and deep draft. And with the attitude PLD have in the moment I don't give alot for him, I would try offer him an offer when he's UFA and if he don't sign that okay. People associated him with MTL only because he's french but there a reason why 2 team want to trade him out.

Yeah but that a different management group were talking about we already have Dvorak that could do second center and if we select Wright or Cooley they can start on third center and maybe next year or the next become the second center so there no need for him now.
