Description
Give up part of the glut of picks and forwards for a Selke guy. Helps Tampa keep Palat. Give Cirelli an immediate LTC in the 5-6 mil range. Need another prospect? A higher pick? Sure, have at it.

UPL on a 2 year deal- 2 way in 22/23, 1 way the year after. Splits the 2nd string crease with Anderson, assuming they both get hurt as usual, and hoping to get 20ish games out of both with Holtby playing the other half.

R2 gets a one way deal to be the spare part. Keeps him in NA for one year and he gets a decent paycheck and probably plays half the games or more when injuries happen, gets the chance to prove if he's a super AHL player or a real NHL talent.

Barrie, Gud, and Joki all battle for the minutes at RD. Don't care who plays with who there.

LOL, I love this take.

If BUF can pull it off, the Cirelli trade would be great for them, and TB needs the cap space

I would pay a price to get Cerelli, but only in draft picks and unsigned prospects. I would be fine with adding Vegas or Florida’s 1st to the deal to get it done. I have no interest in that Edmonton trade because it just looks awful, they should have to pay us to take all their garbage. Tyson Barrie is probably one of the last defensemen I would ever want on this team.

Then go get Cernak, so that Edmonton trade, we take on all that cap for 2 picks next year and we give up the best piece in the deal. No Thanks

Tampa looks like they are taking it year by year right now, and Cernak is too valueable for them with that cap hit, to just trade him.

Understand that, but think you would have a better shot at him than Cirelli. They have some pieces on the back end to handle loosing Cernak. Especially if this is supposedly for cap space.

I doubt they move Cirelli, when he still will be RFA after next season, so him wanting big money won't block Tampa. Same goes with Cernak - use his lower cap hit for next year, and then trade RFA right if wants bigger money.

Killorn or McDounagh will be cap casualty
BUFF36 a aimé ceci.
