Would rather do Zacha or Boqvist and a 3rd

Devils would be better off just OSing JP for a 2nd, but if a 3rd and a cheaper depth prospect like Boqvist works, we could make something work.

I would have liked that too, but I couldn't find room to sign Zacha, as he would probably be like Mid 2M or low 3M hey? If that would be what he signs for, I would just keep JP at that point. All I know is Ken Holland has his work cut out for him if Keith stays (which I think he does), and if they are planning to sign Kane. Kane really throws a wrench in there with his potential AAV. Best case scenario is Kane goes back to sharks and Oil trade to get him out of there and for them to retain salary. I think if he wins or they reach a settlement he will still be looking for the most money.

Edm shouldn't be interested in Zacha as his QO is 3m or so. Boqvist is a cheaper option who has shown potential but doesn't always keep his spot.

To be honest the most fair deal would be Nolan Foote and a 4th. Foote will be cheaper, has better chance of reaching a higher level than Boqvist.

Yeah, at that point I would just stick with JP and sign him for a couple years. Can't give up on him if the return isn't an easy yes. Also I am surprised with the amount of people signing JP on their ACGM teams. Guess he is more desirable than people think lol.

Yea, if I'm EDM I resign JP. It just seemed from conversations about JP is that EDM was looking to create room to fix in other areas, but I'll be honest I have little knowledge on what they are doing next.

that's just not worth it for the Sens imo. they'll be able to get a 1st for Brown if they're retaining 50%, without needing to take on Kassian and his contract
