If the leafs are allowed to talk to Bratt and make a deal at around 6mil by 4 maybe less if possible clear up some cap space and improve the left wing and get a potential young starting goalie like a 1A, I think it could be a good deal but what do you guys think?

If NJ holds Nylander in a higher regard than Bratt, then I'd pull the trigger as a Leafs fan. I don't know why they're balking at paying Bratt to be honest, unless he's asking for Hughes type $$.

this is illogical the only way the devils do this trade is if bratt is requesting more than nylander. in turn the leafs only do this trade if the devils are turning down bratt at 6 or under. this is just not happening.

At this point, Bratt is nearly untouchable, despite what other teams are saying. His constant improvement and the fact he improves whomever players he plays with... he's reminding NJ fans of Patrik Elias.
