Description
Torts was just hired by Philly and Torts love Anderson. Philly is also an awful org so this trade actually has a chance of happening.

Petry is probably going to Dallas. Has 21 points in his last 29 games. And was a borderline elite player in 2020-2021. Those 40 games under Ducharme should be taken with a grain of salt.

Hoffman needs to be thrown into the sun. As a Habs fan, id be willing to trade multiple mid round picks

Shane Wright should be the 1st overall pick and one of Nemec or Jiricek with the 5th pick. Wright should be sent back to the OHL and let him dominate.

Rangers need a cheap 2nd line center. They cant afford to keep both Kakko and Lafreniere and acquire any 2nd line center. Their best move is to trade for a cheap one and use Kakko in the trade instead of letting him be offer sheeted for 4.2 million and only gaining a 2nd in compensation.

It is confirmed that the Habs wont know about Price's condition until training camp, but my best guess is hes gonna be sent to Robidas island until his deal is up. This is why Allen wont be traded until the deadline.

Ylonen should be the only player from our system called up. Let the rest dominate in their leagues or move them up to the AHL.

Only missing a RHD which could be acquire via Offer sheet of Timothy Liljegren. Habs will have money to spend so a 4.2x 3 yr deal will only cost us a 2023 2nd rounder. If the Leafs match, you offer sheet Sandin right after for the same deal.

Trade Deadline will be fun with Drouin, Dadonov, Allen, Byron all being dealt. 3 of them will be retained 50% and the other will have to be a 3rd team to retain for us.

Hoping for good seasons from Gallagher, Edmundson and Armia so they can be dealt for good assets at the next draft.

I'd be fine with Risto if they traded some mid round pick for him not a 1st and 2nd rounder for a player with objectively bad stats. I'd be fine if they resigned him for one or two million dollars to play on the third pair. Not a 5x5 for a guy who clearly isn't a top 4 D. You can add physicality and grit without paying a premium for it. I think Clarke and Holgrem are way out of touch with today's game. The team has been terrible for a decade plus. Those old alumni still having a say are a denominator of it. I don't care if players are soft so long as they're good. That's what the flyers need, good players. Not players who would of been good in the 90s.

I think it's more of guys like TK, JVR, Sanheim, etc. who are are good (minus JVR) but not good enough to make up the difference. I didn't mind the Risto trade and then signing, but it would have made more sense if they were closer to contending. Sanheim-Risto pairing was good, the theory that he would do better without playing 25 mins a night did line but he still has his miscues.

They may be out of touch with today's game but they also had a ton of guys who were skilled and could skate back in the 2006-2012 range. Briere, Carter, Richards, Gagne, etc. They had the skill and speed along with the toughness.

Why trade for a bad one. 5OA. That's a different story.

Torts loves Anderson so much he traded him for Max Domi's signing rights.

Since when was Torts the Blue Jackets GM?
