What Calgary come into this trade XD are you talking about the first round pick ? Cause if that a yes the Calgary first round pick is the propriety of MTL right now because of Toffoli trade return.

It's not good for both team, Mailloux have negative value because he's a terrible human person. I could argue that Clague and Peohling is equal to Gaudreau and the first for Brodin. Brodin is good but in same case of Petry, is contract make is value going down a bit.

So no for both team not what they want nor needed.

Minnesota wouldn't ever do this. Monte fans need to realize brodin is one of the best dman in the NHL and won't get traded. No, he absolutely deserves that contract
