It took a 2nd rounder to move Staal, I assume it will take at least a 2nd rounder plus Nemeth has an 8 team no trade. Unless they trade Nemeth and one of our defense prospects (Jones/Robertson/etc.) to get him off our roster. Can't happen soon enough...

My main comparison is Gostisbehere costing a 2nd and 7th while being almost double the salary of Nemeth.

Wtf? No chance it costs all that lol. Obviously Ghost was better than Nemeth but Ghost was the one forced to be placed on waivers at one point, and that was with an even more cap stripped Flyers squad (because of their offseason moves).

Normally, my trade was Nemeth and a 2022 4th but I wanted to edit that since the Coyotes are openly interested in 2023 draft picks. If they’re going to get our 2023 2nd next to Nemeth, that’s going to net the Rangers a better return than Future Considerations

I guess we shall see.
