I was wondering what it is going to take to obtain Miller.......My best guest is a 1rst round pick, young player and prospect.........I think you are right that this trade did not give the Canucks an existing young player who is playing in the NHL and a top prospect.

Miller is as good as gone by the deadline, barring some insane success from the Canucks early in the season, which is possible, but you gotta get through Vegas, LA, Calgary - all teams better than Vancouver.

Vegas will be on the down swing Calgary is losing Gaudreau, LA is about par with Vancouver, What you are forgetting is that we played at a .647 points% under Boudreau, I do think we trade Miller but no for a package like that.

Because Jim Ruthford basically has stated that Bo Horvat is a core part of the Canucks and that Miller will be traded if he doesn’t sign a team friendly deal

If Horvat wants $7,000,000 a year.....you got to move him......He is not worth more than $6,000,000.
