From a BOS fan perspective - Anderson is a lefty and Boston has a bit of log jam to begin with at LHD (once everyone gets healthy), I think Carlo will bounce back this year and is still an important piece.

I think Iafallo is a good player, and i think Kaliyev has the potential to be a big time goal scorer, particularly on the pp. My hang up is that he seems like the exact kind of player that Cassidy will lose trust in (for better or worse) and push down the lineup. Dont think the deal is bad by any stretch of the imagination, i just think its one that BOS would be hesitant to make, and some of the fits may be off.

Kaliyev > Debrusk
Anderson > Carlo

And a top-6 winger going to Boston as well.

Not that hard to figure out.

Alright so lets start with Anderson vs carlo. Anderson isn’t exactly the 6’5” skater that carlo is. Is he elite defensively? Am i missing something. Doesn’t seem like they’re in the same stratosphere.
When kaliyev doubles his production, lets talk about him being at the same level of debrusk. It honestly might happen, he’s a good young player. But making him out to be there already is some serious homer stuff.

Iafollo is a top six player? In what league? Seems like the bruins give up the two best players here, both with term, one with long term. Strange to consider that bad for the kings.

Anderson has been the top-pair defenseman for LA next to Doughty for the past 2.5 years. And is 2 years younger than Carlo.

Kaliyev is a 20 year old that scored 14 goals from the 4th line. Boston fans were practically begging to move on from Debrusk earlier this year. He had 1 good stretch.

Iafallo has the most minutes of his career next to Kopitar for the past 3.5 years. He's been top 6 for LA.

If he’s top six for LA, the top six stinks. So what do you expect Anderson to get in the off-season? $5M? More?

Bruins fans weren’t begging to get rid of debrusk. Other fanbases were making crappy ACGMs trying to buy low.

I think Mikey gets $3-3.5mil on a 4 or 5 year deal. He's not a scorer, which is what gets the big bucks, but his stay-at-home style is what allows Doughty to be able to join the play offensively more often.

Right, so if he’s better than carlo why is taking less?

Also, four years takes him direct to UFA without buying out any UFA years. So thats not a thing.
