Do not think the Leafs are getting sufficient value back for Nylander in that trade but do not free up cap space to sign Perron, Mykheyev and Campbell.

I am hoping Campbell resigns in Toronto for like $4,000,000 per year.......I think he is a bit of an injury risk so may have to let him walk.

I like Mikheyev but think he is a bit over-rated and think his value is more like $2,400,000.......I find he is a non-factor in playoffs .....so okay if he walks as well.

In this scenario I had to choose between him and Sandin. In my other 3 options I signed him. Tbh, I think both will only sign around the 2 mill mark. I’m not sure leafs can afford them both even though they are clearly developing into 82 game NHLers. Have a look at my ufa/rfa leafs signings and let me know if you think I’ve over allocated for their true market value. May be some cap space to scrape up?

I hear you. Weegar is going to sign for more money in a year. Leafs can fit him in with their cap space now. Can only afford having quality like that at his price for a year. Could potentially resign him next year if the money is there or he walks and we open up over 3 mill in cap space in this scenario.

I personally wouldn’t be signing Campbell for 4.75Mil. There is a reason that he hasn’t been a regular up until this point in his career. He would probably be Mrazek 2.0
