Answering your question.....Playoffs? No, probably not. For Voynov's sake, I wish he can work again in the NHL.

I don't think kempe is ready for the nhl, let alone playing on a top line.. That said I think this team will make the playoffs despite ther lack of defensive depth.

I do like throwing young speedsters with stud veterans, but with that said...I think Toffoli would take that spot over kempe. As far as the playoffs...I'm borderline. Weak defense for sure. Doughty is great, very arguably the best, but there just isn't a #2 D-man on this roster to log serious minutes.

That's kinda the point though...he's not good enough to be a good #2 man. All of his stats fenwick, corsi, +/-, etc... fell last year when they depending on him being a #2. But yes, technically there will be someone opposite Doughty. So there will technically be a #2 D-man.
