It'd be great if they could get the Jets to take on Seabrook's contract-I have my doubts because I think other GM's see a 32 yr old D making $7M per and look at their own RFA &UFA's coming up. If it could happen Trouba coming back would be great. I like Granlund too.
I think you're underselling Hayden's value a little and don't see a strong need to trade him. I'm hoping they try him out to be on the Toews line and hopefully be 80% Saad. Toews's production went down once they traded Saad and Hossa needed to be moved down the 3rd line.

Jets would never make that move. It makes zero sense for a budget team. Trouba probably won't make $7M on his next contract either.
The LA deal is so absolutely pointless. John Hayden can and probably will become a very serviceable depth player for the Hawks.

Where do you acquire the right to Grandlund? The Wild still own him as he has not hit UFA. He is still a restricted free agent.
