I don't think Scheifele gets moved. Chevy takes a vacation again. PLD gets signed, but the neg lasts until TC. Rangers lose to Carolina. I think the only thing they do is move out a contract on D and sign an overpaid bad depth player so they can #RunItBack

I just got a bad feeling this offseason will be very disappointing and not what we are expecting. Especially if the Jets don't manage to get Trotz. It will essentially be a Stand Pat.

I think the Jets are phukked with or without Trotz, they're just not good enough and it'd take way more than just a tweak or two to the lineup to fix it, Chevy is way too complacent with constructing this roster, really I'm not sure he even sees what the problems are.

I don't know how any sane Jets fan can be watching the playoffs and be thinking something like: "yup we just need Trotz and we can compete with these teams"... lol

I'd really like to see Schmidt in a Red Wings jersey. He's playing really well in the World Championships right now and he'd be the perfect partner for Seider and he'd run our second PP. With his ability to play both sides he can also cover for any injury to Seider or Hronek.

I'd be willing to give you anything for him, as long as it's this years 4th round pick.
