Minnesota shouldn’t make that deal for Scheifele

Personally I'd accept that for Scheifele, but since half our fanbase is infatuated with size, there is no way Chevy does that without getting run out of winnipeg

Kulikov has a M-NTC, who would want to go to Chicago right now.

Beaudin was a former 1st round pick, he has probably been passed in the depth charts the last few seasons. But... the 3rd round pick isn't much of an incentive to take Kulikov and move on from the younger body. Especially when it helps out a division rival in cap trouble.

I could see Chicago giving Beaudin a different opportunity somewhere, but not for this.

An unneeded LW looking for a large raise after a career year and a small offense only RD that doesn't fill a need won't tempt Winnipeg to trade Scheifele in division.

A high scoring winger coming off of 2 excellent seasons and only 26 (turns in July), a very promising young offensive dman who is primed for a breakout in the near future...pretty good return I'd say.

That size obsession will get them into trouble when they draft Geekie or McGroarty. Big guys who can't skate and by "can't skate" I mean they cannot freaking skate.

I've watched every ICE game this season. Geekie is a fascinating player (and individual). His weird/high energy personality would be a fan favourite, but I think there are more issues to his game than his ability to skate. However, if you think you can extract a quality NHL player out of him, it may be in there.

I like this Dumba trade, maybe I would give up Thomson rather than Bernard-Docker, but other than that, that's a good deal.

I understand...Pavelski was/is a terrible skater. As long as they think the game at a very high level it'll sort itself out.

Other than them not being needed as I said. Fiala is going to be looking for a huge raise that Winnipeg can't fit under the cap and changes Winnipeg back into a wing heavy, shallow center depth team again. The Jets know how hard it is to find to top 6 centers, they aren't going to be anxious to start that search again.

Addison is alright, but he's not as good as Pionk and isn't very big. The Jets need a physical top 4 RHD, so he's not anything the Jets would pursue.

It's unlikely Winnipeg moves their best trade piece and doesn't fill a single hole with the return.
