Sandin is underpaid and that’s not enough for Soucy

Doubt the Leafs have interest in moving Sandin for 1 year of Varlamov. He just doesn't have the kind of term the Leafs would want for a good young player who's establishing himself in the NHL.

the isles should just offersheet sandin. they won’t, but they should. 4.1mil would be hard to match

My thoughts here were varlamov makes the leafs a (should be) cup favorite with that roster assuming and get a pick that equates to equal value of an offer sheet if they had been afraid of one.. obviously could be off on value but I thought in general the concept was different than I usually see on here and very logical for both teams but I don’t know the leafs well enough to give an accurate statement there obviously
