can you please name the good players in that deal beyond Alexander Kerfoot - I'll allow that he is a good player, but he is only one man, and you are insinuating there are multiple good players for Detroit in that package.

Gibsons value is pretty low with his contract and coming off a down year but the leafs could definitely add a bit more

Anaheim declines Amirov with his medical condition can't be traded and it would be cold hearted to do so Dubas isn't moving him and Robertsson isn't enough for John Gibson.

Detroit isn't retaining 50% on Bertuzzi for your scraps. Holl,Muzzin, Mrazek and Kerfoot is a offer probably the worst i've seen on here. Bertuzzi with an extension probably starts with Robertson and Knies and a 1st round pick.

They just don't fit a need for Detroit. They already have Seider/Hronek/Gustav Lidstrom signed for next year to play RD, so Holl is extraneous; they might need a veteran LD but they can just as easily re-sign Marc Staal for $2Mish instead of giving up an asset for Jake Muzzin.

I think you've got to give them some younger, close-to-NHL-ready prospects for them to even think about moving Bertuzzi, much less retaining on him.

Muzzin has health issues, And it's doubtful he'd waive for Detroit. And Detroit already has Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom on the rightside. So Holl isn't a need for us.

Canucks probably won’t be interested in a 1 for 1. Nylander is a UFA in 2 years so basically we are just kicking the can down the road. This is a lateral move at best
