Same reason they traded for OEL

Also JT Miller is going to be traded / won't resign. Boeser has been on the block for 2y

Cap is not in great shap and you still only have like 8 NHL caliber forwards.

OEL was to fit a need also under a previous regime. Miller will tried to be re-signed Boeser won't get dealt. Even without Miller there still isn't room in our top 6 for him and yeah most teams really only have a good top 9 like Vancouver so I don't get the you guys only have 8 good forwards lol like Boston only has 6 on your team lmfao

Canucks have had 6 top 10 picks since 2011. The Bruins - 0.
