Copp will have no shortage of teams willing to offer 5M +. My guess is he gets extended at 5.25 - 5.5 M, depending on a term between 5 and 6 years. If NYR are “lucky” maybe he’s willing to sign a short term deal for 4.25 - 4.5M…betting on himself with an expected jump in CAP 2024 due to TV deal. Probably wishful thinking, though- he’ll take the guaranteed longer term payday.

Motte- can see signing a 3-4 year deal around 2M per….don’t think much will be left for Vatrano
