I don't know Petry much off the ice, except that he visited my sister's house when he first came from Edmonton, so don't know if Ottawa would desire him. They need great locker room guys that can still play to surround the young core.



Well, I was certainly not the one making up rumors lol. You can have you own opinion all you want, it doesn't change any of the reality and other people speculation and opinions.

I don't know why they were interested in White but it is what it is. The NHL is a small world, there is a lot of connections. Teams are enamored with certain players (for good or bad) and eventually get them (or not)

He's been one of the better D-men in the NHL for years and bounced back in a big way in the 2nd half. His value is certainly higher that salary dump.

I've read every many of those sources of rumours, they were all speculative. There was also no indication as to why Montreal would want White. Ottawa fans on here have run with it, but this is literally a cap website, it should be really obvious Montreal can't make a deal work unless they're moving more cap with similar term out in the deal.
