Meier sign and trade for 23 1st top 5 protected, plus Holtz and a 22-3rd. the 22 3rd for the top 5 protection. if your ok unprotected then the 1st plus Holtz is fine, though adding a goalie and Meier would almost guaranty your not drafting top 5

Eichel got more protection, but the ask I have for Meier is way less than Eichel returned. so i think it's fair.

Like I said, depends on what the Sharks wanna do. The Devils likely don't want to part with Holtz because he's young and cheap and the Devils aren't a playoff team yet.

SJS wouldn't want to part with Meier if they are trying to win now. If they rebuild fully, maybe a '23 first and Holtz+ is something they covet.

Like I said at the start, I doubt this is ever realistic for either team…. but if the sharks somehow agreed to deal Meier and NJD wanted him bad enough then I feel this is pretty close to what it would take to get him. but i don’t think it would event happen for either team.
