We really just need a top six winger

Description
Most of our losses are by one goal or an empty netter. 15 of our 40 losses are in overtime or shootout. This team doesn't quit easily. We are in almost every game. If we had just one more top six winger that can contribute 25 goals and 50ish points this time would be in the thick of the playoff race.

if Vincent comes over under 6 mil i would be stoked!, but at the same time we need some size! our top prospects (Gushin Robins Boreleau Eklund) are all VERY skilled, but smaller and a big wing to support them would be ideal. we do have Coe who is bigger but we need more size to support the smaller players.

That 3rd line is gonna get mauled. Bordeleau would benefit from a full year in the AHL, so would Eklund. But that's just my opinion. Barracuda would be bonkers if they were there together, plus you could use another high pick in the 2023 draft

Sure but thats not what this organization wants. That 3rd line is not as bad as you think but I am guessing you don't see many Sharks games.

The organization wants to win now, which is why they will continue to either be bottom of the league or fringe playoffs. This team is not going to win a Cup, so don't bother trying to make playoffs and ruin development is my advice. Just look at the Sabres if you want an example of how that can go very wrong very quickly. When I meant "mauled" I was not referring skill-wise. Those are all highly skilled players, they will undoubtedly score some goals together. But they are all non-physical players and I could see them getting pushed around. Not saying you need to sign Reaves to play with them, but if you spread those guys out in your lineup, that wouldn't be a concern anymore

Dahlen, Barabanov and Trochek are all underpaid. Gregor probably is about there or more. Have to move Bonino too I think if you are really trying to make a splash in the offseason.

i would agree but the sharks' AHL development and coaching is terrible so this might be the better option as is

Really? How so? If that is the case then they better fix that. If the farm team isn't a reliable way to develop youngsters that would be a huge problem moving forward
