Description

Several of the UFAs decide they want to stay on a winning team and take slight discounts to be on a contender. They'll still be rich but they'll also have a good chance to win the Cup multiple times. EJ decides to hang it up - his body just can't do it anymore so now there is space to bring in some fresh guys. The following season gets a little tight but Mac takes a little less, Byram, Meyers and Newhook take bridges and they keep the window open until the end of Rants' deal.

I think we go after a bigger fish than Calvin De Haan or Ryan Strom if EJ hangs it up. I would love it if we can get Nico Sturm and Nuke to sign at those terms but I think they get slight more. Otherwise, very reasonable off-season outlook.

If Trocheck would accept the contract you gave Strome, that’s who I’d prefer. Everything else looks pretty good.

Normally I’d say spend the 3.5mil in space you have but probably best to keep for a TDL acquisition
