Islanders I think could actually say yes to this, assuming the pick is around pick 14/15 in the draft. I think they’d do it if Vancouver took on Josh Bailey as part of the trade. Toronto Laughs at the offer; they don’t want a rental and certainly not at the price of a good middle 6 forward, their upcoming star d man, a very good forward prospect who, if healthy, should become a very good top 6er at worse, and a first on top of all that. Miller half retained is an amazing piece, but Toronto isn’t the team that would be interested

I don't know how much sandin ask for in the offseason. They will have to work the cap in the offseason, they save some money in the next season and improve in the short term.

I don’t see Sandin getting too much, likely a bridge deal. He hasn’t had enough production this year to exactly push for more than say 2 mil

Instead of trading Boeser to NYI and taking Dadonov off Vegas, how about something like Boeser for one of Hoffman/Gallagher, CGY 2022 1st, MTL 2022 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

NYI 1st will be higher than CGY, but MTL 2nd is almost a 1st. Boeser would have to sign an extension.

I think that would work and also Boeser is a rfa.

Yea i meant a long term extension, no arbitration 1 year deal. He'd be a great fit on a line with Suzuki and Caufield.
