Winnipeg is too loyal to their players and will never trade or buyout Wheeler. I feel like that may be an over payment for Provorov. I could be wrong though, we never know the true value, but it would be more than i would like to see them give up. Dillion has been one of the best defenceman this year for us in my opinion. I would hope that they keep him. In my opinion, we need to get bigger, 2 guys need to go, take your pick of Morrissey, Pionk, Schmidt or Heinola. Kovachevic and Samburg are big bodies and NHL ready.

No on the Vegas deal for Winnipeg. Broissoit isn't needed and makes too much for a backup.

Kapanen is terrible. Stanley is an overpayment, no chance the Jets add a 2nd.

Wheeler isn't waiving for LA and the Kings aren't making that trade.

The Jets have zero need for True and need defensive depth on the right side more.

Terrible overpayment for Provorov. The Jets don't need LD and Provorov has a bad contract.

I will personally drive Kapanen to Winnipeg if thats what it takes to complete this deal

Dillon - he’s just ok, doesn’t move the needle offensively or defensively but is more movable than Schmidt. Samberg can take those minutes for 1/4 the cost and might be better immediately. Jets needs the best D man available regardless of LH or RH. Provorov immediately becomes 1B after 44, provides size and skill. Kapanen is Copp’ish but faster. Excellent analytics and can play PK. Stanley is expendable.

Jets don’t trust Comrie, basically getting Kolesar as a reward for taking Brossoits deal.

Something smells with Wheeler, IF he wants out his options are limited. Let’s be honest, California is more appealing, weather and taxes for him, LA has loads of cap space and is ascending.
