Ducks fans, for the expansion draft, are you guys going the 7/3/1 route or 8/1? And if it's 8/1, do you keep Silfverberg or Rakell, because Vegas will take the other one? Let me know your thoughts, I'm not a ducks fan, but I do enjoy watching them play

I would personally choose the 7/3/1 route. The Ducks' forward depth is paper-thin, and they can't really afford to lose either Rakell or Silfverberg. On the other hand, Shea Theodore can hypothetically step into Cam Fowler's spot, and Brandon Montour could take Josh Manson's spot in the lineup, should he be selected.

No way they lose Rakell. I think they lose Silferberg and go 4-4-1. If Bieksa waives his NMC i obviously go 7-3-1 but if he doesn't i go 4-4-1.

Granted Bieksa waives his NMC (bc a) hes a good sport and team player, and b) Vegas doesn't even want him anyways), then Ducks should go 7-3-1.

Forwards: Getslaf, Perry, Kesler, Rakell, Silferberg, Cogliano, Unidentified Player
Defence: Lindholm, Vatanen, Fowler
Goalies: Gibson

So basically, Manson is traded for some sort of LW, top 6 if possible. A trade with Toronto is very possible. Manson fits Torontos fold as a young, top 4 RHD, and Toronto has pieces like JVR or Kapanen that they could give up. My two cents

Here's my prediction:
1. Bieksa waives NMC, because there's no way Vegas wants him.
2. Trade Manson for a forward.
3. Protect: Gibson, Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler, Rakell, Silfverberg, Cogliano, 7th forward they trade for, Lindholm, Vatanen, and Fowler.
