With Nemeth's M NTC, it might be impossible to trade him, without taking equal cap back....whiich kinda defeats the purpose of the trade

Might sub in Trivigno instead of Othmann though. I can definitely see them wanting to let Othmann marinate in juniors and not rush him to the NHL.

You might be right...but if he's told he'll be a spectator at every game, he might just accept a trade to a developing team where he can have more of a role....and if that could take him to a city with lower cost of living and lower taxes- he'll actually see a raise.

Great points all. If Copp keeps the PPG avg going into the playoffs, he'll be at least 5 mil.

I meant to add Gauthier to the Arizona trade as we won't have cap or roster room for him. Maybe he is the sweetener needed to make the deal.

Also, I believe Nemeth's no-trade allows him to submit a list of 8 teams he can not be traded to. That is very limited and I believe mostly Canadian teams.
